S’engageant dans une exploration minutieuse du territoire, découvrant et documentant les anciennes usines sucrières abandonnées et les machines désuètes, Axel se penche sur cet héritage en mettant en lumière les vestiges de cette ère industrielle révolue et en capturant l'essence de ces lieux dans une série qu’il a baptisée ‘Synchronicity’.

Ses tirages sont présents au Musée de la photographie Nicéphore Niépce (France) et au Shangri-La Le Touessrok (Mauritius). Sa collaboration inédite avec cet emblématique hôtel de luxe permet aux voyageurs du monde entier de découvrir son travail au travers de rencontres avec l’artiste.
